Been a while ^^

Thu Aug 28, 2008, 9:41 AM
Wow, its been too long since I last put up a journal....well let's see *cracks knuckles*

Ok, recently I spent two weeks in New York with some very good friends, had an awesome time (though it messed with my internal clock big time!). While I was there I got to hang out in Central Park, do some late night live dubbing, went to a free opera (heck, that one even surprised me ^^) and generally behaved like a tourist. Though I did get to record an audition at a NY studio live with one of my friends which was unbelievable fun!

The first weekend there two of us traveled down to Baltimore to attend this years Otakon (big mother of an anime convention), to host a panel of amateur voice acting, what a weekend! Great company (missing everyone already ^^), a fun convention and hey, sexy pizza, it works. Trust me.

Anyway, since getting back I've taken in Hellboy 2 (awesome movie!), and while I have to say that I am not exactly the poster child of national pride, I must confess even I felt a twinge when a certain twist comes about in the film. Also, I have put together a brand new demo reel which was a lot of fun and am very happy with at the moment.

So yeah, thats me up to date.

All the best,
Phillip

Back with a new project!

Fri Jun 27, 2008, 3:06 AM
Hi all. I had a great time down in the Mourne mountains, beautiful scenery and just a wonderful place to get away from it all for a weekend. I'll definately be making a repeat visit and I'll also get around to uploading some pics of the place at some point.

On the voice acting front, a very special project has just been released called "Dirty Split". Written, produced and created by the very talented Uwe Sittig, this freeware point and click adventure game casts you in the role of private detective Alan Baxter as he is called in to investigate a most unusual murder. I voice three characters in the game; detective Alan Baxter, Jose Pantoso (Chee Chee to his friends ^^), and LaSalle.

If you'd like to check it out, head over to the website below to download the game for free:

Weekend Away and New Projects!

Thu Jun 12, 2008, 2:56 AM
Hi all, I'm really looking forward to this weekend. My family and I are taking a trip to a cottage near the Mourne Mountains, just next to Tullymore Forest. A nice, relaxing weekend is definately on the cards, let's just hope the weather holds up :)

Also, I lent my voice to a rather awesome project from Lawrence Simpson called PRISM, a surreal and powerful series of short films delving into the colours of the spectrum, and the associated psychologies behind them. If you want to check it out, head over to:

New Project - Life As We Know It...

Fri May 16, 2008, 4:26 AM
I recently recorded for this project and was thrilled to see it released. Written and mixed by the very talented Hnilmik, it's a beautiful story about a girl exploring the universe around her, creating new life as she goes. Along the way she encounters a friendly, if somewhat mysterious fox, and together they explore the mysteries of life, the universe and everything.

A long overdue hello!

Tue May 13, 2008, 10:45 AM
After having signed up here at dA for a long time now, it seemed only fair that I should start making use of it ^^

Anyway, for the moment I will be posting up my voice acting demos, including any new ones I put together, and eventually I hope to be putting up some clips of other work I have done.

Aside from that however, I'm looking forward to meeting people here on dA. Feel free to drop me a line.

All the best,
Phillip Sacramento (Lion-court)
